SAEDNEWS: U.S. President Donald Trump, amid sensitive peace negotiations with Iran and rising tensions over navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, announced that a fleet of giant empty oil tankers is heading toward the United States to load what he described as the “best and sweetest” oil and gas in the world.

Real Estate Tycoon “Blond-Haired” Loses His Temper / Trump, After Failing to Open the Strait of Hormuz, Boasts About His Oil in a Childish Tone: “Buy Mine!”

According to the political service of Saed News Agency, Donald Trump posted a new message on his exclusive social media platform, Truth Social, on Saturday (April 11, 2026), in which he sought to highlight the strength and independence of the United States in the global energy market.

In his post, Trump wrote: “A massive number of completely empty oil tankers—some of them among the largest in the world—are now heading toward the United States to be loaded with the best and ‘sweetest’ oil (and gas!) available anywhere in the world. We have more oil than the next two largest oil economies combined—and of higher quality. We are waiting for you. Load up and return quickly!”

This post was released during one of the most volatile periods in the global oil market, coinciding with major diplomatic developments. The timing of the message aligns precisely with the day high-level delegations from the United States and Iran sat down in Islamabad, Pakistan, to begin peace negotiations. These talks followed a two-week temporary ceasefire, the key U.S. condition for which was the full reopening of the Strait of Hormuz—a strategic waterway through which around 20% of the world’s seaborne oil passes.

Despite the ceasefire, tanker traffic in the Persian Gulf has not yet returned to normal levels. Reports indicate that Iran is seeking to impose transit fees on shipping companies, a demand that the White House has firmly rejected, insisting instead on unrestricted freedom of navigation.

Energy Leverage at the Negotiating Table

Analysts believe the strongly commercial tone of Trump’s post is a calculated strategy. He is positioning himself as a “big salesman,” aiming to reassure global markets—concerned about potential disruptions to Middle Eastern energy supplies—that American oil, in large volumes and high quality (light crude, which is easier and cheaper to refine), remains readily available.

Furthermore, Trump’s claim that the United States produces more oil than the next two largest oil economies combined (Russia and Saudi Arabia) is largely consistent with statistical data. According to recent estimates by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), total U.S. production of petroleum liquids is expected to reach around 22 million barrels per day by 2026, roughly equivalent to the combined output of Moscow and Riyadh.

Through this message, Trump is pursuing two objectives: calming global oil markets and exerting maximum pressure on the Iranian negotiating team in Islamabad, signaling that Western economies and energy markets will not come to a halt even if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
