SAEDNEWS: Social media claims that Benjamin Netanyahu and Eyal Zamir were killed in an Iranian missile strike in Jerusalem have been confirmed as false, with no official statements supporting the reports.

According to the political desk of Saed News, reports circulated on social media claiming that the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime and the regime’s Chief of Staff were killed in an Iranian missile strike targeting their meeting location in occupied Jerusalem.

According to ISNA, breaking news spread on Facebook and the platform X alleging that Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, had been killed along with Eyal Zamir, the regime’s Chief of Staff. However, it was later clarified that these reports were false and that the published images were fabricated.

Al-Bawaba reported that, so far, no official statement has been released regarding the assassination of Netanyahu or Zamir in the alleged Iranian missile attacks on the occupied territories.

Since early Monday morning, Hebrew-language media outlets have reported that one Iranian missile struck near the site of a cabinet meeting in occupied Jerusalem.

The Israeli military also announced that several mortars and rockets were launched from Lebanon toward its bases, triggering warning sirens across northern occupied territories, including the city of Jerusalem. Military forces along the northern borders were placed on high alert.

According to Hebrew media reports, at least six missiles were fired from Lebanon toward northern occupied territories, followed by the sound of heavy artillery fire from western areas along the Lebanese border.
