SAEDNEWS: The U.S. president announced that communications by America’s regional allies with Iran and the country’s Supreme National Security Council secretary indicate the formation of a structure for negotiations.
According to the political desk of Saed News, U.S. President Donald Trump said late Saturday in an interview with Fox News, commenting on the latest developments in West Asia, that America’s allies in the Persian Gulf are currently engaged in talks. “We’ll see what happens,” he said.
Trump claimed that Iran is in talks with the United States, adding, “We’ll see whether we can do something or not. Otherwise, we’ll see what happens.”
Repeating his familiar threats—often viewed as part of psychological warfare and an attempt to create fear—about deploying a large naval fleet to the region, Trump responded to remarks by Washington’s allies in the Persian Gulf who said Iran has always sought negotiations. He said, “Well, that’s true. They are negotiating. We’ll see what happens.”
Trump, while implicitly acknowledging his own unreliability, disregard for international rules, and confrontational approach, claimed: “You know, the last time they negotiated, we had to eliminate their nuclear weapons.”
Meanwhile, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran, wrote in a post on his personal X (formerly Twitter) account that, contrary to the artificial media-driven war atmosphere, the formation of a framework for negotiations is progressing.
Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said in an interview that the United States often tries to establish contact with Iran through third countries.
