SAEDNEWS: Iran will not compromise on its seven conditions for reaching an agreement with the United States, including an end to all wars across the region, Iranian Ambassador to Egypt Mojtaba Ferdowsipour said Saturday, emphasizing that Tehran has no confidence in Washington.
According to Saednews, In an interview with Al Mayadeen, Ferdowsipour stated that messages between Tehran and Washington were currently being exchanged through Qatari mediation. However, he emphasized that no direct or indirect negotiations were taking place, with communications limited to consultations between Iran and Qatar.
He rejected US assertions that Iran had shifted its position, reaffirming that Tehran remained firmly committed to the conditions it had previously outlined for reaching an agreement.
Commenting on a recent message from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei to Iran’s senior military commanders, Ferdowsipour said the message was primarily directed at the United States and Israel, followed by neighboring countries.
The ambassador also highlighted Cairo’s regional concerns over the possibility of US President Donald Trump launching a large-scale military offensive ahead of the US congressional midterm elections, warning that such an escalation could have consequences for the entire region.
He further underscored Iran’s high level of military preparedness, stressing that Tehran would have new surprises in store should another war break out.
