Trump’s New Claim About Iran: “We Are Eagerly Waiting for This Event” / Trump Speaks About Iran’s Future

SAEDNEWS: Donald Trump claimed a memorandum of understanding with Iran would soon be signed, combining threats with calls for long-term cooperation. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson denied the claim, saying there are no plans for an imminent visit or agreement signing.

Trump’s New Claim About Iran: “We Are Eagerly Waiting for This Event” / Trump Speaks About Iran’s Future

According to the political service of Saednews news agency, Donald Trump, President of the United States, once again commented on Iran on social media—remarks that, as usual, combined self-praise, harsh language, and contradictory signals about a potential agreement.

Trump claimed that an understanding with Iran would soon be signed on Sunday. Repeating previous claims about Tehran’s nuclear program, he wrote:
“My deal with Iran is exactly the opposite; a wall against the absence of nuclear weapons. In fact, they no longer want nuclear weapons and will not have them—whether through purchase, development, or any other form.”

Threat with B-2 Bombers and Claim of a “Final Option”

Continuing his controversial rhetoric, the U.S. president directly threatened Iran’s nuclear facilities, claiming:
“At the right time, when everything is calm, thanks to the beautiful B-2 bombers, we will act and collect and destroy nuclear dust buried deep in the powerful granite mountains.”

Despite these threats, Trump shifted tone at the end of his post, referring to cooperation:
“We look forward to working with Iran and the entire Middle East in the future. We hope this process will happen quickly and smoothly. If not, we have a final option that we hope will never be used.”

Iran’s Response and Peaceful Nature of the Nuclear Program

These claims come despite the fact that the Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly emphasized the peaceful nature of its nuclear program, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has never presented any evidence indicating a military diversion.

Most political analysts believe Trump’s rhetoric is primarily intended for domestic audiences and is influenced by Iran’s defensive capabilities and its control over strategic waterways such as the Strait of Hormuz.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Denies Claim: No Plan for Travel or Signing

Contrary to Trump’s explicit claim that a deal would be signed on Sunday, Iranian diplomatic officials have firmly rejected this timeline.

Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responding to a question about a possible Iranian negotiating delegation traveling to Geneva or Islamabad within the next two days to finalize a memorandum of understanding, said:

“We should wait regarding the exact timing of the signing; although there are no plans to travel to Geneva or elsewhere within the next day or two.”
