Iran Ignores Trump’s Threats, Ghalibaf Says

According to Saednews, In a post on X, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated: “Do they not realize that if their threats had any effect, they would not be this desperate today? We place no value on U.S. threats.”

He added, “They should be careful with their statements. Our armed forces are fully prepared to respond in a different way. Whatever they say, we are the ones who take action.”

Ghalibaf’s comments came after Donald Trump threatened to “hit Iran very hard again” if Tehran does not stop the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah from “causing trouble.”

Meanwhile, the first round of talks—mediated by Pakistan and Qatar at the Burgenstock resort in Switzerland—ended after approximately 80 minutes.

The negotiations are part of a 60-day framework under the 14-point Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, which requires both sides to avoid any threat or use of force against each other.
