Iran’s Culture Minister: US Youth Reject Trump’s War Policies at the Ballot Box

According to Saednews, In a post on X on Wednesday, Salehi said the significance of the US election results lay not in expectations of American politicians or political parties, but in the hope they offered for a growing awakening of human conscience, particularly among younger generations in the West.

He noted that young voters had largely cast their ballots against Trump's "war policies" and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "actions that kill children."

"This gives us greater reason to be optimistic about the future of the world," Salehi added.

His remarks followed Tuesday's US midterm elections, in which Trump's Republican Party suffered a major setback as Democrats regained control of both chambers of Congress: the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Rising living costs, dissatisfaction with the Trump administration's economic policies, and opposition to the war of aggression against Iran were among the factors that influenced voter behavior.
