Pakistan Announces Finalization Of Iran–US Negotiations! / Is The Final Document Being Signed?

According to SAEDNEWS, the newspaper “Pakistan Observer” published a report on the provisions included in the final draft of a document prepared with Pakistan’s mediation, which is reportedly set to serve as the basis for an alleged agreement between Iran and the United States.

Quoting Fars News Agency, the Pakistani newspaper wrote that the broad outlines of this document include provisions such as establishing an immediate ceasefire, commitment not to attack vital infrastructure, and guaranteeing the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the leaked framework of this treaty, the first and most vital step is the establishment of an immediate, comprehensive, and complete ceasefire on all battlefronts.

According to the alleged draft, both sides commit to completely refraining from targeting each other’s vital and economic infrastructure in order to prevent further damage to civilian sectors.

Another key section of this draft is dedicated to the security of international waterways. According to this clause, freedom of navigation in the Persian Gulf region, especially the strategic Strait of Hormuz, will be guaranteed under a “joint monitoring mechanism.”

In return for Iran’s adherence to these principles, the United States has pledged to lift economic sanctions against Tehran in a phased process simultaneous with the verification of Iran’s measures.

The two countries have also been required to begin official negotiations within a maximum of seven days after the start of the ceasefire in order to resolve major political and security disputes.

The Pakistani newspaper claimed: Diplomatic officials predict that this agreement will be officially announced in the coming days, and if finalized, it would mark the biggest de-escalation step between Washington and Tehran in recent years.

This claim was made while the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of the Islamic Republic of Iran had rejected media speculation about the details of negotiations related to ending the war just hours earlier.

In recent days, various international media outlets have raised different speculations regarding the provisions of a document that is supposed to form the basis of negotiations between Iran and the United States.
