Exclusive: Washington Sends Fresh Message to Tehran Through Pakistan

According to Saednews, A source close to the negotiating team told Tasnim News Agency that three days after Iran submitted its 14-point proposal, the United States delivered another draft to Tehran through a Pakistani mediator.

According to the source, Iranian officials are currently examining the new text and have not yet issued a formal response. The Pakistani intermediary, who is in Tehran, is reportedly working to narrow the differences between the two sides and bring their positions closer together.

The source stressed that no final agreement has been reached so far.

The latest diplomatic developments come after the United States and Israel launched what Iran described as an unprovoked military offensive against the country on February 28.

Iranian armed forces responded with strikes targeting American and Israeli positions across the region and within the occupied territories, demonstrating Tehran’s ability to carry out large-scale retaliatory operations. Despite expectations in Washington and Tel Aviv of a rapid outcome, Iran’s counteroffensive reportedly continued for 40 days and caused extensive damage to U.S. and Israeli military infrastructure.

Efforts to reduce tensions later intensified through Pakistani mediation, leading to a temporary ceasefire agreement on April 8 and opening the way for negotiations in Islamabad.

However, the talks failed to produce a breakthrough as discussions stalled over Washington’s maximalist demands and what Tehran viewed as unrealistic conditions.
