SAEDNEWS: Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry rejects US network report claiming Iranian aircraft were present at Nur Khan Air Base.
According o Saednews, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has dismissed a CBS News report claiming that Iranian military aircraft were sheltered at a Pakistani airbase to avoid U.S. airstrikes, calling the report misleading.
The ministry described the allegations as speculative and said they were aimed at disrupting diplomatic efforts currently underway.
It stated that both Iranian and American aircraft had recently landed in the country to support the transport of diplomats and security personnel participating in regional de-escalation discussions.
According to the ministry, such narratives appear intended to weaken ongoing initiatives for regional stability and peace. It also noted that some support staff remain on the ground in anticipation of further rounds of negotiations.
