SAEDNEWS: Iran has delivered a response to the United States’ nine-point proposal through a Pakistani intermediary, focusing on the issue of ending the war.
According to the political desk of Saed News, Tasnim reported that the United States has proposed a two-month ceasefire, while Iran has emphasized that key issues must be resolved within 30 days, shifting the focus from extending a ceasefire to achieving a complete end to the war.
Topics included in Iran’s 14-point proposal reportedly cover guarantees against military aggression, the withdrawal of U.S. military forces from areas surrounding Iran, lifting the naval blockade, the release of Iran’s frozen assets, payment of compensation, removal of sanctions, and an end to conflict across all fronts, including Lebanon. The proposal also addresses a new framework for the Strait of Hormuz, among other matters.
Iran is currently awaiting an official response from the United States regarding these proposals.
