According to the technology section of SaedNews, the recently released teaser showcases Figure 03 with a noticeably different appearance compared to previous generations. The new robot features a fabric-covered body and smoother movements. Its design has become more human-like, a change that could make interactions with people feel more natural. The fabric exterior, which has caught the attention of users on X as well, marks a departure from the typical metal or plastic chassis seen in many humanoid robots. Additionally, cameras embedded in the robot’s palms enable object recognition and manipulation.

The unveiling of Figure’s new robot comes after the company’s recent operational achievements on BMW’s production line, where the previous-generation robots worked continuously for five months in 10-hour shifts.

Figure AI’s CEO, Brett Adcock, described this model as “the best humanoid robot in the world,” emphasizing that the full reveal will take place on October 9, 2025, at the company’s headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.

The humanoid robot market has experienced a wave of innovation in recent months. Companies like Tesla, with its Optimus robot, and Agility Robotics, with Digit, are competing to dominate this field. Amid this competition, Figure AI aims to carve out a distinctive position through unique design, proprietary AI, and a focus on practical industrial collaboration.

Recently, Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, also appeared in a video practicing kung fu. These robots even made an appearance on the red carpet for the film Tron: Ares, with one performing martial arts moves in front of the film’s star, Jared Leto.
