For this reason, it is often used to cover walls and fences and is also suitable for hanging baskets.
The leaves of blue jasmine are light green and oval to lance-shaped. Its flowers appear in dense clusters at the ends of the stems. The flowers have a green calyx and a tubular structure covered with fine hairs, along with a narrow corolla tube ending in five lobes. Interestingly, the flowers of blue jasmine closely resemble those of phlox, which is why the plant is sometimes called tree phlox. The flowers are primarily sky blue, although varieties with white and deep-blue flowers are also available.
In tropical climates, this plant grows vigorously and can quickly cover a tall wall. In colder regions, blue jasmine is generally grown in containers and kept in a greenhouse or indoors.
