How to Make Quick Halva

  1. Crush the petit beurre biscuits completely into fine crumbs. You can use any suitable tool for this.

  2. Sift the crushed biscuits to obtain a fine flour-like powder.

  3. Lightly roast the biscuit powder in a pan over low heat for 3–4 minutes.

  4. Add butter and stir until it melts completely and blends well with the mixture.

  5. Add the oil and mix until smooth and uniform.

  6. Gradually add the prepared syrup using a ladle, stirring continuously so the mixture absorbs it and thickens.

  7. Once the halva comes together, gently move the pan in a rocking motion so it gathers in the center.

  8. If you plan to pipe or decorate the halva, do so while it is still warm, as it becomes difficult to shape after cooling.
