SAEDNEWS: A common concern among parents during school days is children’s poor appetite, especially at breakfast. It is recommended that parents prepare varied breakfasts the night before with their children to increase their interest and encourage better eating in the morning.
According to Saed News and Behdasht News, one of the recommended homemade breakfast options is chocolate spread made at home.
To prepare homemade chocolate spread, you generally need 6 tablespoons of tahini (sesame paste) and 1 tablespoon of honey. After mixing the tahini and honey in a ceramic bowl until the mixture becomes smooth and uniform, you can optionally add different ingredients each time for variety.
For this amount of tahini and honey, you may add:
1 teaspoon hazelnut powder, or
1 dessert spoon of pistachio powder, or
1 tablespoon of coconut powder, or
all of these ingredients together.
To create new flavors in your homemade chocolate spread, you can sometimes add 1 tablespoon of rose water or 1 tablespoon of ground cardamom. Occasionally, you can replace honey with 2 tablespoons of grape syrup or date syrup. This breakfast is highly nutritious, aromatic, and can provide significant energy for school students.

It is recommended to serve this highly nutritious homemade breakfast with a glass of a healthy drink for your child.
To prepare a suitable drink for students’ breakfast, mix 50 grams of raw pistachios or hazelnuts with 3 tablespoons of honey or grape syrup and 3 glasses of water in a blender. Blend until you obtain a smooth, milk-like beverage. These homemade drinks are very beneficial for supplying iron and strengthening students’ brains.
If your child prefers sweet foods for breakfast or school snacks, you can also prepare a highly nutritious dessert called date halva.
To prepare it, peel and remove the pits from about 1 kilogram of black dates. Then mix the pitted dates with 1 cup of tahini, 50 grams of ground walnuts, 1 tablespoon of pistachio powder, and 1 tablespoon of coconut powder until a uniform dough is formed. You can roll this mixture into small balls and coat them with various nuts, sesame seeds, or coconut, then store them in the refrigerator for your child. These nutritious energy balls can be consumed alongside breakfast drinks or used as school snacks.
