Saed News: During a debate on BBC, a political analyst sharply criticized the positions of Reza Pahlavi, accusing him of effectively issuing a “declaration of war” and relying on potential foreign military intervention.
According to SAEDNEWS, one of the panelists in the debate delivered a strong critique of Pahlavi’s actions, claiming that in a televised interview in the United States he had openly and explicitly “declared war.” The analyst stated: “Mr. Pahlavi called on people to take to the streets, seize cities, and clearly said that this is a war—and war entails casualties.” He also accused Pahlavi of implicitly signaling approval for foreign forces to intervene in Iran.
These remarks were immediately challenged by another guest on the program, Mahmoud Sabahi, who interrupted the speaker and said: “You are an analyst, not a judge!” He stressed that an analyst should not assume the role of issuing definitive judgments or selectively interpreting others’ positions.
Foreign Powers Are Not Charitable Organizations
In the second part of the discussion, the critic shifted focus toward Netanyahu and Trump. Referring to the high number of casualties and widespread destruction in Gaza, he questioned claims that Israeli and American officials act out of concern for Iran, stating: “Foreign governments have not established charitable foundations to provide services for the Iranian people.”
He concluded with a stark warning about the consequences of foreign intervention: “Their wish is to push Iran back to the Stone Age. They seek to install a weak government in Tehran and subject Iran to the same fate as countries like Syria and Libya—nations that today suffer from instability, where even slave trading has re-emerged.”
