Israeli Media’s Reaction To The Alleged Possible Ceasefire With Iran

According to SAEDNEWS, Israeli media are closely monitoring unconfirmed and unofficial reports about the nearing of an agreement between Iran and the United States through indirect negotiations with concern.

In this regard, Channel 12 of the Israeli regime claimed that the coming hours are decisive, and that the details of the emerging agreement between Iran and the United States do not appear to be in Israel’s favor.

The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth also wrote that growing concern in the occupied territories is spreading over the emerging understandings between the United States and Iran, and fears of a deal that does not emphasize Iran’s nuclear disarmament, does not limit Iran’s missile program, and does not prevent Iran’s regional influence.

The newspaper Maariv stated that Iran’s victory is near, and that Tel Aviv must reconsider its calculations, redefine its position in the region, and form new alliances.

Other Israeli media also pointed to the “absolute silence” of the Israeli prime minister regarding reports of an approaching Iran–U.S. agreement, condemning this silence.

Israeli Channel 24 correspondent Gai Gezerali said in a live broadcast that the end of the conflict in this manner would be a major defeat for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli Channel 13 also emphasized that if a 60-day ceasefire is extended, it would be completely contrary to what Israel wanted and sought to achieve.
