Saed News: The claim by The New York Times regarding the “exclusion of the Israeli regime from the obligations of a possible agreement with Iran” has been denied.

Is Israel “Excluded” From the U.S.–Iran Agreement?

According to SAEDNEWS, citing Fars News Agency, The New York Times had claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump had “excluded” Israel from the obligations of an agreement with Iran.

However, a review of the finalized draft of the possible agreement shows that this claim has no basis. According to the explicit text of the agreement, if finalized, the United States and its allies would commit not to attack Iran or its allies in any way.

In return, Iran would commit that it and its allies would not carry out preemptive military attacks against the United States and its allies.

Therefore, the media claim that this regime has been excluded from any obligations toward Iran contradicts the explicit provisions of the finalized agreement and is not accurate.
