Qatar Sounds Alarm Over Israeli Violations of Gaza Ceasefire

Majed Al Ansari told a press briefing that Qatar’s mediation efforts in Gaza are ongoing, warning that Israeli violations “threaten the agreement and weaken its impact.”

He added that despite these breaches, “this is the longest ceasefire” since the conflict began.

Al Ansari also said Doha continues to monitor the Gaza agreement closely and is working to prevent the current truce from collapsing.

He emphasized the need to strengthen the ceasefire and advance toward implementing the second phase of US President Donald Trump’s plan, noting that Qatar aims to use the existing truce as a pathway to that next stage.

In a related development, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty expressed hope that larger, unrestricted aid shipments would reach Gaza to meet the needs of Palestinians in the enclave.
