According to Saednews, Bandar Abbas, due to its unique conditions, has always welcomed many visitors from different parts of Iran. The city’s population varies throughout the year, and these conditions have helped make Bandar Abbas one of the major marine tourism destinations in southern Iran.
Ghadir Coastal Park is a large seaside park in Bandar Abbas. The Goharshad Hotel and Restaurant and the Avini Concert Hall are located alongside the park.
A designated area for swimming and boating has been provided along the coastline. The park also features a dedicated cycling path and bicycle rental facilities. Horse and camel rides are also available in the park on many occasions.
A section of the coastal park featuring a large Iranian flag serves as a gathering place for various public events. These include Tasua mourning ceremonies, charity markets, and spontaneous celebrations following national achievements.
The Ghadir Sports Complex is also located within the park and includes football and beach volleyball courts where national-level competitions are held.
Facilities at the park include public restrooms, mobile showers, washing areas, and numerous traditional shelters. The coastal park stretches for approximately 1.5 kilometers.
Dowlat Coastal Park is the oldest coastal park in Bandar Abbas and is situated between Ghadir Coastal Park and Velayat Coastal Park.
The park provides public restrooms, a mosque, washing facilities, and numerous shelters. Recreational amenities include outdoor exercise equipment, a table tennis area, and a traditional teahouse.
At the far end of the park, visitors can find the Persian Gulf Karting Track and a children’s park. The coastal park is approximately 1.3 kilometers long.
Velayat Park is a seaside recreational area covering approximately 100,000 square meters and located along Sadaf Boulevard.
The park features skating and cycling tracks as well as a children’s playground. Visitors can also rent bicycles and skates.
There is a traditional teahouse, a restaurant, and extensive green space within the park. One of its notable features is its nighttime lighting, which gives the area a distinctive appearance after dark.
The park also provides public restrooms and numerous traditional shelters. Its coastal section is approximately 800 meters long.
The Nature Forest Park Complex is located approximately 4 kilometers along the Bandar Abbas–Minab road. Covering an area of 32 hectares, it is the largest forest park in Bandar Abbas.
The site was formerly known as Jihad Forest Park and has more recently been referred to as the Nature Complex. It includes resting areas for tourists, recreational facilities, and other visitor amenities.
In March 2019, a bird garden covering approximately 6.2 hectares was opened at this location. It currently welcomes visitors and tourists.
This forest park features a variety of plant species and trees, along with platforms for visitors to stay, children’s playground equipment, outdoor exercise facilities, and accommodation areas for Nowruz travelers.
These amenities provide a pleasant recreational environment for both local residents and tourists.
The park is located on Imam Khomeini Boulevard, before Bandar Abbas Airport, at the beginning of Persian Gulf Boulevard.
Shahid Dabbaghian Park is one of the largest parks in Bandar Abbas and is also known locally as City Park. It covers an area of approximately 110,000 square meters.
The park offers facilities such as a 5D cinema, landscaped green spaces, and children’s playground equipment. The Bandar Abbas Flower Garden is also located within the park, covering approximately 2 hectares and featuring around 200 species of seasonal plants.
Shahid Dabbaghian Park is situated on Imam Khomeini Boulevard in Bandar Abbas. Thanks to its extensive vegetation and well-designed recreational spaces, it attracts many travelers and tourists each year as a place to stay and relax.
