SAEDNEWS: Qada fasting refers to the fasts that must be observed after the blessed month of Ramadan when a person was unable to complete the obligatory fasts. These missed fasts should be made up after Ramadan, and they must be completed by the end of Shawwal, the twelfth month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
According to Saensnews as per the ruling, if a person owes missed fasts from several previous Ramadans, they may make up the fasts from any of those Ramadans first, and observing a particular order is not required.
However, if there is very little time left to make up the fasts of the most recent Ramadan—for example, if five days of missed fasting remain from the last Ramadan and only five days remain before the next Ramadan—then, as a recommended precaution (obligatory precaution), the person should first make up the missed fasts from the most recent Ramadan.
If a person has missed fasts from several Ramadans, there is no problem with making up the fasts of any one of them first. However, if the time remaining to make up the fasts of the most recent Ramadan is becoming limited, then, according to obligatory precaution, the missed fasts of the most recent Ramadan should be performed first.
