SAEDNEWS: North Korea conducted a military drill featuring the launch of a strategic intermediate-range hypersonic missile, which successfully struck a target located 1,000 kilometers away in the Sea of Japan.

According to Saednews, North Korea conducted a military drill featuring the launch of a strategic intermediate-range hypersonic missile, which struck a designated target 1,000 kilometers away in the Sea of Japan, according to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally observed the exercise and emphasized the need to consistently demonstrate the reliability and destructive capability of the country’s strategic offensive weapons.

According to KCNA, the launch was carried out on October 3 in the eastern part of North Korea. Missile units trained with the hypersonic system while assessing its reliability, effectiveness, and mobility. The missile was fired toward the northeast and successfully hit the designated target at a distance of 1,000 kilometers.
