SAEDNEWS: Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami says that the enemy has created an oppressive narrative regarding Iran’s nuclear industry.
During a visit by Vice-President for Executive Affairs Mohammad-Jafar Ghaempanah to an exhibition highlighting Iran’s nuclear milestones, Eslami spoke to reporters about the importance of maintaining a permanent display of these accomplishments.
Eslami emphasized that the main goal of consistently presenting these achievements is to counter hostile propaganda, which he said has misrepresented public opinion about Iran’s nuclear program through baseless claims over the years.
He noted that the most effective way to challenge this narrative is through tangible demonstrations of progress and practical initiatives that underscore the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear activities.
Outlining key strategic priorities for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Eslami highlighted areas such as combating water scarcity, addressing soil salinity, reducing vulnerability to agricultural pests, and ensuring food safety and energy security.
“The enemies do not want Iran to have a presence in the nuclear industry, but despite all hostilities, we remain at the forefront of this field,” he said.
Eslami also mentioned long-term cooperation agreements with foreign partners, including Russia, covering plans for the construction of eight nuclear power plants in Iran.
He described these collaborations as crucial for transferring modern technology and strengthening Iran’s industrial and technological infrastructure, adding that such projects could play a vital role in the country’s economic growth and development.
