A man named “Khawirul Anam,” dressed in groom attire, officially registered his marriage to a rice cooker at a marriage registration office.
Photos published on Twitter show parts of this unusual ceremony. In one image, the young groom is seen holding the rice cooker in his hands. Another image shows him signing the official marriage documents.
Anam also shared the images on his Twitter account, writing: “White, calm and perfect, it never speaks (does not complain), it is excellent at cooking. Now a dream has come true. Without you, my rice cannot be cooked.”
The post and images shocked Twitter users. While some reacted with humor, others criticized him. One user commented: “A spouse for four days.”
