SAEDNEWS: Iran’s foreign minister, referring to his meeting with his Chinese counterpart, said that Chinese officials believe Iran’s international position has improved compared to the period before the recent war, and that the country’s capabilities and strength have been clearly demonstrated.
According to the political desk of Saed News, citing Khabar Online, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, speaking on the sidelines of his meeting with his Chinese counterpart, stated that Chinese officials believe Iran has emerged from the war in a different position than before. He said they view Iran as having achieved an upgraded international status and having demonstrated its capabilities and authority, adding that a new era of cooperation between China, Iran, and other countries lies ahead.
According to ISNA, Araghchi explained that during the meeting, the two sides discussed all current issues on the agenda, including matters related to the war and its conclusion, as well as the ongoing negotiations with the United States being mediated by Pakistan. They also discussed Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.
Araghchi added that the Strait of Hormuz was one of the serious topics of discussion, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this regard.
