SAEDNEWS: If you are looking for a delicious lunch, various types of pastries will certainly be the best choice.
According to Saednews, If you want to prepare a delicious minced-meat-style dish without using rice, you can try making homemade chicken pastries (piroshki) without an oven. This recipe is simple, flavorful, and can be prepared either by frying or baking.

1½ tablespoons instant yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups flour
½ tablespoon salt
2 eggs
6 tablespoons yogurt
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 chicken breast
100 grams mushrooms
1 onion
Pizza cheese as needed
1 sausage
Salt, black pepper, and turmeric as needed
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1 bell pepper

First, prepare the dough. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well until the dry ingredients are evenly combined.
Add the eggs, yogurt, vegetable oil, and water to the mixture. Stir well until a smooth dough forms.
Mix the ingredients with a fork. If the dough feels too soft and sticky, add a little more flour. However, avoid making it too firm, as the dough should remain soft and flexible.
Knead the dough by hand until it becomes smooth, elastic, and well combined. Cover it with a clean cloth and leave it in a warm place for about 30 minutes to rest and rise.
While the dough is resting, prepare the filling. Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it in a pan until lightly golden.
Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and add it to the onion. Cook well until the chicken is fully sautéed.
Chop the sausage into small pieces and add it to the chicken mixture.
Slice the mushrooms and bell pepper, then add them to the pan. Stir and cook until the vegetables soften.
Add minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and turmeric. Mix everything well.
Add the tomato paste and cook for a few more minutes until the flavors combine. Remove from heat and allow the filling to cool slightly.
Divide the dough into equal-sized portions.
Flatten each piece of dough, place some chicken filling in the center, and add a small amount of pizza cheese.
Fold and seal the edges carefully to form the piroshki shape.
You can cook the piroshki in two ways:
Frying method: Fry them in hot oil until golden and fully cooked.
Oven method: Bake them at 180°C (356°F) for about 30 minutes until they become golden and cooked through.
Enjoy these soft, homemade chicken piroshki with a flavorful filling and a delicious golden crust.
