SAEDNEWS: Iran's army said its ground forces launched ground-to-ground missiles at U.S. HIMARS missile systems stationed at Kuwait's Arifjan base on Tuesday. The military said the strike was carried out during the 18th phase of Operation Thunderbolt, according to its official statement.

According to Saednews, The Army's public relations office said the drone attack was carried out in retaliation for what it described as "missile attacks by the Great Satan" on parts of Iran.

According to the statement, the operation targeted HIMARS, a highly mobile missile system capable of rapidly repositioning and striking ground targets. The Army claimed that destroying these systems would weaken the enemy's offensive and defensive capabilities and reduce its missile capacity for future military operations.
