Saed News: A former U.S. official, criticizing the policies of the current U.S. administration, stated that the war against Iran led to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) taking control of the Strait of Hormuz.

According to SAEDNEWS, Ben Rhodes, former Deputy National Security Advisor in the administration of former U.S. President Barack Obama, wrote on X: “Operation Epic Fury achieved nothing except making the IRGC responsible for the Strait of Hormuz.”

This is not the first time that a U.S. official has described the war against Iran as a strategic failure for Washington. Many experts believe that this war was a major loss for the United States and a significant geopolitical gain for Iran.
