A Meaningful Message From Maduro From Inside Prison

According to Saed News’ Economic Service, Nicolás Maduro, former president of Venezuela, called for global unity and reconciliation in a Sunday evening message on the social media platform X, addressing citizens and people worldwide on the occasion of Easter.

Maduro wrote: “This is why this resurrection provides an opportunity to firmly declare that this victory belongs to life and truth. It is not death that triumphs, but Christ. It is not lies that triumph, but truth. It is not hatred that triumphs, but love. And this victory calls us to pursue unity, dialogue, reconciliation, and peace among all.”

He added: “Easter represents overcoming suffering and rebirth, and without suffering, there is no resurrection.”

The former Venezuelan president also urged the removal of “stones of hatred, lies, division, and resentment” while striving for forgiveness and the restoration of unity. He emphasized that “faith and hope remain the foundation for overcoming challenges.”

On January 3, the United States allegedly launched a major operation against Venezuela, abducting Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, and transferring them to New York. Former U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that Maduro and Flores would face trial on charges of involvement in drug-related terrorism and creating threats, including to the United States.
