Iran’s Foreign Minister Calls on Neighboring Countries to Clarify Reports of Encouraging Attacks on Civilians

According to SAEDNEWS, In a message posted Monday evening on his account on the social media platform X, Araghchi said that hundreds of Iranian civilians, including more than 200 children, have been killed in attacks carried out by Israel and the United States.

He added that reports have emerged claiming that certain neighboring countries hosting U.S. forces — and allowing their territory to be used for operations against Iran — may have played a role in encouraging or supporting these attacks.

“Reports have been published indicating that some neighboring countries that host American forces and provide the possibility for their territory to be used to attack Iran have also actively encouraged these killings,” Araghchi wrote.

The Iranian foreign minister said these reports require immediate clarification.

“For this reason,” he stated, “it is expected that the positions of these countries be clarified promptly and transparently.”

Araghchi’s remarks highlight growing tensions in the region as Iran calls for accountability and greater transparency from neighboring states regarding their role in military operations linked to the United States.
