SAEDNEWS: Commander of the Baghiyyatollah al-Azam (May God Hasten His Reappearance) Jihadi Cultural Headquarters of the IRGC Says If Another War Occurs After the 12-Day War, Iran’s Response Will Be Much Harsher
On Wednesday evening, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari, at the ceremony marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyed Reza Mousavi at Imam Ali Mosque in Mahdishahr, Semnan Province, stated: “Now, in the post–12-day war era, reconstruction has been completed, the missiles that struck the usurping regime have been replaced, and our readiness is greater than ever.”
He emphasized: “The enemy’s military calculations during the 12-day war proved wrong. If the enemy is wise, it will not initiate another war and will not repeat the same mistake.”
He continued: “If we assume the enemy acts foolishly, let them know that the blow it suffered during the 12-day war will, this time, be even more devastating at the hands of the Islamic Republic.”
According to Major General Jafari, “This time, the enemy cannot surprise us because preparations have been made across all sectors.”
During the 12-day war, electricity in cities was not even cut
The commander of the Baqiyatallah al-Azam (may God hasten his reappearance) Jihadi Cultural Headquarters noted that the enemy misjudged from cyberspace that the Iranian people would increasingly oppose the Islamic system, but their calculations were again mistaken. He added: “The Zionist regime, alongside the United States, suffered a major defeat from Iran in the 12-day war and must learn its lesson.”
He highlighted continued service to the people during the 12-day war, saying: “During this imposed war, even the electricity supply to the people was uninterrupted.”
Major General Jafari emphasized: “The resilience of the Iranian nation today is at its peak, and miraculous effects of Iran’s model are evident among European and American Muslims. Today, we should listen more attentively to the messages of the martyrs. Holding commemorative ceremonies for martyrs across the country promotes their discourse in society.”
The enemy knows it has few supporters inside Iran
He stated: “The enemy now realizes that very few of those who are inattentive will side with its goals within the country.”
The commander added that some people are concerned about the future and, in response to protests by merchants due to economic issues, ask what will happen. “The 12-day war showed that all people—even those who faced difficulties or were considered counter-revolutionary—condemned the enemy’s attack and joined the united people.”
The enemy cannot stop Iran’s nuclear knowledge
Referring to the achievements of resistance during the 12-day war, he said the Zionist usurping regime did not reach any of its objectives. “As long as the martyrs are alive, they serve Islam with their bodies, and after martyrdom, they continue to reveal their spiritual effects. That there is no fear in the hearts of the people today is a result of the martyrs’ spiritual influence.”
Major General Jafari added: “A country and system with this faith and culture follows the path of Ashura. Today, it stands against arrogance and will not yield to any hardship.”
Regarding nuclear knowledge, he emphasized: “During the 12-day war, the enemy struck some nuclear facilities but could not halt Iran’s nuclear knowledge; the path continues.”
Martyrs’ expectation in the second phase of the revolution
He recalled that the martyrs’ expectation in the second phase of the revolution is that “we should strive further for an Islamic government and increase service to the people.”
He referred to the grandeur of Arbaeen ceremonies and their global impact, noting: “Iran’s liberation is now more honored among freedom-seekers worldwide than before.”
Divine support in enduring current hardships
Major General Jafari stated that endurance in the current conditions—hardships, sanctions, and inflation—is where God’s divine support lies.
He added: “Some believers are not martyrs but continue the martyrs’ path—self-made individuals who follow the will of God, feel no weakness in this path, and are never defeated. God loves these patient ones.”
Highlighting God’s promise about martyrs’ life, he said: “Miraculous resilience against sanctions and pressures continues the martyrs’ path. Resistance during the 12-day war was a strange miracle that many do not understand. Many assumed that due to inefficiencies, economic pressure, and sanctions, the people would abandon the Islamic system easily, but they stood firm.”
The unique status of Martyr Seyed Reza Mousavi
The commander spoke of the exceptional position of Martyr Seyed Reza Mousavi from Mahdishahr, Semnan, and described his contributions to the Islamic Republic and the resistance front as unparalleled.
Referring to Mousavi’s rise through the ranks of the IRGC, he stated: “The work of martyrs is comparable to that of angels, acting by divine command. The Islamic Republic represents Shia culture in the world, and as the Quran notes, those who believe in God and persevere are true believers.”
According to IRNA, Hojjatoleslam Morteza Motiee, the Supreme Leader’s representative and Friday prayer leader in Semnan, Commander Mansour Shoghani of Semnan’s Qaem Corps, Hamid Dehrooye, Deputy for Economic Coordination of Semnan Province, Ali Khodadad, governor of Mahdishahr, poet Ahmad Babaei, and a number of officials and citizens attended the ceremony.
Seyed Mohammad Sadegh Mousavi, son of Martyr Seyed Reza Mousavi, delivered an Arabic speech on the crimes of the Zionist usurping regime.
A memoir of Commander Seyed Reza Mousavi and a book titled “Death Tunnel” on war prisoners were unveiled, and Mousavi’s family was honored.
Martyr Mousavi’s path from Semnan to martyrdom
Commander Seyed Reza Mousavi, the only son of Hossein and Mahvash from Chashm village in Mahdishahr, Semnan, knew he was on the Zionist assassination list but bravely remained in defense of the shrine until his death on December 25, 2023, securing a lasting place among the righteous.
He was one of the IRGC’s most experienced advisors in Syria and a companion of Martyr General Qasem Soleimani. Following the crimes of the Zionist regime, he attained martyrdom, exposing its actions to all.
Mousavi, a senior IRGC commander in Syria, participated in all support phases of the Syrian war, fought in the desert and Damascus outskirts, and was instrumental in repelling attacks on western Aleppo. He survived multiple assassination attempts by the Zionist regime in recent years.
Semnan Province has a long history of defending justice, having contributed the most martyrs relative to its population during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war. Similarly, it has excelled in defending the shrine of Ahl al-Bayt and resisting oppressors.
Martyr Hassan Shateri, a prominent son of Semnan, known as engineer Hesam Khoshnevis, a Quds Force commander responsible for reconstructing southern Lebanon, attained martyrdom on February 12, 2013. Subsequently, other local elites—including Martyr Mohammad Tahan Chubmasjedi (November 6, 2015), Martyr Mohammad Hossein Hamzeh (April 17, 2016), and Martyr Abbas Daneshgar (June 10, 2016)—sacrificed their lives defending the oppressed at the shrine of Ahl al-Bayt and ascended to their Creator.
