According to the Family Magazine service of SaedNews, pasta is a simple and extremely delicious Italian dish. In our country, it is prepared in a slightly different and even tastier way. Follow along for a complete step-by-step guide to making pasta.

Pasta: 400 g
Ground beef: 200 g
Onion: 1 large
Mushrooms: 100 g
Potatoes: 2 large
Green peas: 100 g
Bell pepper: 1
Tomato paste: 3 tablespoons
Salt and black pepper: to taste
Turmeric and oil: as needed
Step 1:
Peel and wash the onions, then finely dice them on a cutting board. Wash the bell pepper, remove the top and seeds, and cut into 1 cm cubes. Set aside.
Step 2:
Peel and wash the mushrooms. Once fully drained, slice them and set aside. Heat 2–3 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium heat.
Step 3:
Add the onions and sauté until slightly soft. Add the ground beef and stir well until the color changes completely.
Step 4:
If desired, peel, wash, and finely grate the garlic. Add turmeric, black pepper, diced bell pepper, and garlic to the pan.
Step 5:
Push all the ingredients to the sides of the pan and add the tomato paste. Sauté continuously for 1 minute until the raw smell disappears and the color changes.

Step 6:
Lower the heat and add the mushrooms. Stir well so that all ingredients are fully coated with tomato paste.
Step 7:
Increase the heat slightly and pour 1 cup of water over the mixture. Cover the pan and let the meat cook until semi-tender and the sauce is mostly absorbed—about 15–30 minutes.
Step 8:
Fill a pot with water up to one-third, place it over medium-high heat, and bring to a boil. Peel and slice 1–2 potatoes, depending on the pot size.
Step 9:
Once the water boils, add salt and half a tablespoon of oil, then immediately add the pasta. Check the sauce: it should be thick and well combined. Remove the pan from heat and set aside.
Step 10:
Cooking time varies according to the instructions on the pasta package. Typically, after 5–7 minutes in boiling water, test a piece by biting it. Drain the pasta.
Step 11:
Pour some oil into a pot and layer the bottom with potato slices. Add a layer of pasta, then a layer of meat sauce with a sprinkle of thyme (optional). Repeat until all pasta and sauce are used.
Step 12:
Cover the pot and place it on a trivet. Let it steam over low heat for about 5 minutes, then reduce the heat and cook for 45 minutes until fully done.
Step 13:
Finally, transfer the pasta to a serving dish and garnish with golden-brown potatoes on top.
Enjoy your meal! 😍
