SAEDNEWS: Saed News: The spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responding to the announcement of the U.S. postponing attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure, expressed concern over the potential global and regional consequences of such threats and called for a ceasefire and an end to attacks against Tehran.
According to Saed News’s political service, citing Khabar Online, during a press conference today (Tuesday), spokesperson Liu Jian responded to a question from Agence France-Presse: “Prolonged conflicts benefit no one. A ceasefire and dialogue are the only way out of this crisis.”
IRNA reported that these remarks from China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs come as Donald Trump, the U.S. president, claimed yesterday (Monday) that an attack on Iran’s energy infrastructure had been postponed for five days.
Liu Jian added that China is deeply concerned about the continuous escalation of tensions and their cross-border consequences, which threaten regional and international peace and stability.
