Strange but Real: The News of Dr. Ali Larijani’s Martyrdom Was Written by Himself

According to SAEDNEWS, citing Tasnim News Agency, Ali Larijani’s media assistant wrote: “In the final months, his feet were no longer on the ground; he had truly become heavenly. We were very worried about him. In my heart I kept saying that he would surely become a martyr. I told myself I should ask a question just in case. He was very sensitive about his texts; he was an architect of words. The precision he had regarding his writings was remarkable.

I asked him: ‘Doctor, if you are martyred, how should I begin the statement?’ He gave his well‑known smile and said: ‘Write: “A servant of God has joined God.”’ He himself began the text of the announcement of his martyrdom. He knew he would become a martyr. Blessed martyrdom to Martyr Dr. Ali Larijani.”

Picture Translation:

Ali Larijani

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

“Among the believers are men who have been true to what they pledged to God. Some of them have fulfilled their vow, and some are still waiting, and they have never changed their commitment in the least.”

Dear and proud nation of Iran!

“A servant of God has joined God.”

In the final months, his feet were no longer on the ground; he had truly become heavenly. We were very worried about him. In my heart I kept saying that he would surely become a martyr. I told myself I should ask a question for a day just in case. He was very sensitive about his texts; he was truly an architect of words. The precision he had with his writings was remarkable.

I asked him: “Doctor, if you are martyred, how should I begin the statement?”

He gave his well‑known smile and said: “Write: ‘A servant of God has joined God.’”

He himself began the text of the announcement of his martyrdom.

He knew he would become a martyr.

Blessed martyrdom to Martyr Dr. Ali Larijani.
