SAEDNEWS: Historic Structure “Rani Ki Vav” in Gujarat, India, Known as the World’s Largest Stepwell
According to Saed News Tourism Service, the historic monument Rani Ki Vav in Gujarat, India—often called the largest stepwell in the world—was built in the 11th century under the orders of an Indian queen. Constructed in a dry region within a deep valley, it has become one of India’s top tourist attractions, welcoming millions of visitors every year.
Although Rani Ki Vav was recently inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, its nomination had been submitted in previous years as well but was rejected multiple times for various reasons.
