SAEDNEWS: Shahi Paneer is a popular Pakistani–Indian dish. It can also be prepared with tofu instead of paneer to make it completely vegan. Although the dish is vegetarian, no meat is used in its preparation.
According to Saednews, Shahi Paneer (Pakistani–Indian Style)
4 tomatoes, grated or puréed
1 teaspoon sugar
1 onion, finely chopped
4 cloves garlic, grated or minced
1 tablespoon ground coriander seeds
A small amount of fresh coriander (cilantro), chopped
Red chili powder, to taste
½ teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
¼ cup water
¼ cup cream
About 200 g white feta cheese, cut into cubes
Salt, to taste

Heat some oil in a frying pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Once the onion is golden, add the minced garlic and sauté briefly.
Add the red chili powder, turmeric, ground cumin, salt, and ground coriander. Fry the spices gently in the oil for a short time.
Next, add the tomato purée and cook until most of the tomato liquid has evaporated. Then add the water, sugar, and cubed cheese along with additional salt if needed. Stir carefully so that the cheese does not break apart.
After about 10 minutes, once the flavors have combined and the sauce has reduced, add the cream and remove the pan from the heat. The dish should have a rich, moderately thick sauce—it should not be too dry or too watery.

When serving, sprinkle some freshly chopped coriander on top and enjoy.
