SAEDNEWS: If you want to make lavashak at home but don’t have a suitable space, we have prepared a recipe for the most delicious homemade lavashak without using an oven or sunlight in this article for you.
According to Saednews, Most of us living in apartments tend to overlook making homemade lavashak (fruit leather) because we don’t have a suitable space for drying it in the sun. However, if your home is not sunny or you don’t have an oven, you can still make delicious, market-style fruit leather using the method explained in this cooking guide. This recipe uses plums, and whenever they are in season, you can easily prepare tasty homemade lavashak with this technique.

Wash 3 kilograms of black plums and remove the pits using a knife.
Cut the plums into large pieces and place them in a suitable pot.
Add 2 cups of water and cover the pot, then place it over heat to cook.
Keep the heat low to prevent the contents from boiling over.
After 10 minutes, stir the plums slightly and add one tablespoon of salt. Let them cook for another 10 minutes.
To achieve a more vibrant color, be sure to skim off any foam from the surface.
Remove the pot from heat and allow it to cool slightly. Then transfer the mixture to a blender and blend until smooth.
Lightly grease a suitable tray (preferably stainless steel) and pour the blended mixture into it evenly.
Fill a large pot halfway with water and place it on the stove until it reaches a boil.
Place the tray on top of the pot so the fruit mixture dries gently using steam heat.
Let it remain on low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
Periodically check the drying process by touching it; when it no longer sticks to your hand, it is ready.
Remove it from heat, allow it to cool completely, and then carefully separate it from the tray.
