Mix sugar, gelatin powder, and water together and place over heat until the sugar and gelatin completely dissolve. Then remove from heat.

Once the mixture has completely cooled, fold in the whipped cream. Add vanilla and mix thoroughly.

Pour the mixture into a 1.5-liter mold and refrigerate for 4 to 5 hours until it sets.
