SAEDNEWS: Last Night, Sharif University of Technology’s Data Center, Core of Iran’s National AI Platform, Targeted by US-Israeli Attack
According to the Science and Technology Desk of Saed News, last night, Sharif University of Technology was targeted in an attack by an alleged U.S.-Israeli adversary. During the incident, the university’s data center was struck. This center plays a critical role in maintaining and managing the country’s AI platform infrastructure and thousands of dependent services.
The National AI Platform, unveiled in late 2024, now serves as the central hub for developing and connecting the country’s AI projects. The Vice President for Science had previously announced in November that all national AI projects are linked to this platform.
