SAEDNEWS: Empress Lü: The Beautiful Woman Who Became a Ruthless Killer After Her Lover's Betrayal
According to Saednews report cited by Simorgh, Empress Lu, regarded as the most ruthless, powerful, merciless, and influential queen in history, was born in China during the second half of the sixth century AD.
Her father was a high-ranking officer in the Chinese imperial court. As a child, Lu was exceptionally beautiful, and by the age of fourteen her beauty had become so renowned that she could no longer move freely among the public. As a result, she spent most of her time at home.
One day, she attended a royal celebration with her father. The Emperor of China noticed her immediately and ordered her father to bring her to the palace.
Her father obeyed the emperor's command, and from the following day Lu became one of the emperor's consorts. The considerable age difference between Lu and the emperor led the young and beautiful Lu to fall in love with a handsome young officer. However, the officer betrayed her, and the heartbreak left her seriously ill.
After recovering from her illness, Lu reportedly swore vengeance against men. Following this decision, members of the Tang imperial family began dying under mysterious circumstances. Eventually, at the age of twenty-five, she seized power and ordered the execution of ten thousand members of the Tang clan throughout China, establishing her own royal dynasty.
She commanded the construction of special torture chambers where some of the harshest punishments in history were allegedly inflicted upon innocent people.
Until the age of eighty, Lu was said to have committed numerous acts of cruelty and wrongdoing. At that point, she reportedly became remorseful, released all prisoners, and devoted herself to helping the poor and needy. Two years later, at the age of eighty-two, she died, with her final wish being that the people would forgive her for her sins.
