SAEDNEWS: U.S. President Donald Trump said a standing order is in place for a major military strike against Iran if any attempt is made on his life, repeating claims of alleged threats linked to Iran.

Trump Renews Warning to Iran, Claims It Has Thousands of Missiles

According to Saednews political reports, former U.S. President Donald Trump posted a strongly worded message on his social media platform, Truth Social, claiming that 1,000 missiles are prepared and targeted at Iran. He stated that if the Iranian government carries out any alleged threats to assassinate or attempt to assassinate the sitting President of the United States—whom he identified as himself—thousands of additional missiles would be launched immediately.

Trump further claimed that the necessary military orders had already been issued and asserted that the U.S. military was fully prepared and capable of carrying out a prolonged military campaign that, according to his statement, could completely devastate large areas of Iran for up to one year, with the possibility of extension.

In an earlier post on Truth Social, Trump also claimed that Iran had requested the continuation of negotiations. He said the United States agreed to continue discussions but had clearly informed Iran that the ceasefire was over.

Speaking in an interview with the New York Post on Friday, Trump repeated his claim that he had left standing orders for a severe military response if Iran were ever successful in assassinating him. He stated that he had instructed authorities to respond with an unprecedented level of bombing should such an event occur.

When asked about recent reports alleging that Israel had warned of a new assassination plot, Trump said Israel had provided "nothing new," adding that he had long believed he was at the top of Iran's alleged target list.

Trump also remarked that he hoped people would miss him if anything happened to him.

Following the NATO summit, Trump reportedly switched to a different aircraft during his return trip. The White House said the change was made as a security precaution to protect the president.

The statements have drawn attention because of their highly confrontational tone and come amid continuing tensions between the United States and Iran. No independent evidence was presented to support several of the claims made in Trump's statements.
