3 tablespoons butter
1 ½ cups semolina flour
½ cup vegetable oil
½ cup pine nuts
1 ½ cups water
1 ½ cups milk
1 ½ cups sugar

6 scoops vanilla ice cream
2 teaspoons cinnamon (optional)
1 tablespoon pistachio powder (optional)
First, prepare the syrup for the halva. Combine water, milk, and sugar in a saucepan and heat until the mixture comes to a boil. Remove it from the heat and set it aside while preparing the halva.
To make the halva, heat a pan and add the butter and vegetable oil. Allow them to melt completely. Add the pine nuts and sauté for 3–4 minutes until lightly toasted.
Next, add the semolina flour and slowly roast it for about 10 minutes, stirring continuously, until it develops a light golden color and a pleasant aroma.
Gradually add the prepared milk, water, and sugar syrup to the roasted semolina while stirring constantly. Continue mixing until the halva thickens. Then cover the pan with a lid.
