According to SAEDNEWS, In a statement, the clergy underlined that they abide by the instructions of the Leader while remaining attentive to the rightful demands of the people and to rights that have been affected by mismanagement, sanctions, and pressure exerted by hegemonic powers.

“The Sunni clergy of Kurdistan Province and the western regions of the country have always been present—both before the victory of the [1979 Islamic] Revolution in the struggle against the tyrannical system [of the Shah], and after it during periods of severe insecurity caused by pressure from secessionist groups, as well as during the Sacred Defense era (the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran in the 1980s)—and have supported the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the statement said.

Recently, foreign-backed terrorists and trained mercenaries exploited peaceful protests in Iran to advance the objectives of hostile forces. They sparked riots, vandalized public property, and attempted to incite public discontent. One of their goals was to create sectarian and ethnic divisions in order to fuel further unrest in the country. However, Iranians from all walks of life, including various religious and ethnic groups, demonstrated their solidarity with the Islamic establishment by holding pro-government rallies and condemning acts of terrorism and riots orchestrated by hostile elements.
