Saed News: The United States and the Israeli regime, after the failure of the “surrender project” targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance through negotiations, and their failure to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, attempted to impose a “Lebanon-for-surrender equation.”
According to SAEDNEWS, citing a security source in Tehran, the United States and the Israeli regime, after the failure of the “surrender project” targeting the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance through negotiations, and after failing to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, sought to intensify pressure on Tehran and exploit the ceasefire pause by expanding the scale of attacks on the Lebanon and Gaza fronts in order to impose a “Lebanon-for-surrender equation.”
The American assessment was that the capture of southern Lebanon and advancement beyond the “yellow line” in Gaza, alongside continued maritime blockade, would increase pressure on Iran and force it to reconsider its calculations and accept surrender.
