Saed News: A spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command admitted early on Tuesday to violating the ceasefire with Iran by striking targets in the southern part of the country.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Fars News Agency, “Tim Hawkins,” spokesperson for the U.S. Central Command, admitted early Tuesday (local time) to violating the ceasefire with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hawkins claimed in an interview with Fox News: “We carried out attacks on Monday in southern Iran for self-defense. These strikes targeted missile launchers and boats that were attempting to lay mines.”
He further claimed: “We continue to defend our forces while exercising restraint during the ongoing ceasefire.”
The spokesperson of the terrorist organization CENTCOM, while claiming that the ceasefire with Iran has not collapsed, added: “We bombed a surface-to-air missile (SAM) site in Bandar Abbas after it targeted our aircraft.”
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported, citing a U.S. official: “Iran attempted to attack U.S. forces over the past 24 hours. The attacks caused no harm to U.S. forces.”
