SAEDNEWS: Zac EFron is recovering after being treated at a Spanish hospital following what his rep called a "minor swimming incident" during a trip to Ibiza.
According to SAEDNEWS, Zac Efron is currently recovering after a pool incident during his recent trip to Spain that led to a hospital visit.
The High School Musical star was taken to a medical center as a precaution after a "minor swimming incident" at a villa on the island of Ibiza on the night of August 2, according to his representative, speaking to TMZ. Efron was released the next morning, August 3, and is reported to be doing well.
E! News has reached out to the actor's team for comment but has not yet received a response.
The 36-year-old actor, who had previously raised health concerns in 2013 following an accident at home that resulted in a shattered jaw, has been enjoying a vacation in the Spanish islands over the past couple of weeks.
Just a day before the swimming pool incident, Efron joined his longtime friend Martin Garrix onstage at the Ushuaïa Ibiza venue during the Dutch performer's show. "Like every week, Martin Garrix delivered an exceptional performance that left us all in awe," the beachfront club shared on their Instagram, accompanied by photos and videos from the event. Efron made a memorable appearance on stage during the performance of "Smile."
