SAEDNEWS: Here you see one of the beautiful paintings by the artistic Qajar king. Apparently, His Majesty knew nothing about ruling the country but was talented in art and music.

Two Paintings by Naser al-Din Shah Qajar of a Beautiful European Woman Beside an Iranian Samovar, Pouring Tea, Wearing a Boat-neck Blouse and a Puffed Skirt / dated 1263 (1884-1885 CE).

According to SAEDNEWS, Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, besides his interest in photography—occasionally taking pictures of women in his harem—also practiced painting since his time as crown prince. He wrote brief notes in the margins of some of his photos and paintings.

Among Naser al-Din Shah’s paintings is one from the year 1263 (Islamic calendar), in which he painted a foreign woman.
