Amazing $100 Million Reconstruction of Noah’s Ark Based on the Bible’s Specifications + Photos

According to the History Service of Saed News, quoting FardaDid:

ARK Encounter is a giant replica of Noah’s Ark, measuring 155 meters long and over 15 meters high, with a construction cost of $100 million.

This ark, part of a theme park in Kentucky, took two years to build and features models of dinosaurs, biblical unicorns, lions, and legendary cats. Over one million tourists visit this Noah’s Ark reconstruction annually.

Inside the massive ark, there are more than 100 cabins showcasing models of various animals, Noah’s workshop, and everything the museum’s founders—who believe in creationism—think was aboard Noah’s Ark.

The dimensions of this giant replica are based on the “cubit,” a biblical unit of measurement that creationists have converted into modern units.

The creators believe the animals on the ark were ancestors of creatures we know today. Therefore, the ark’s models include an animal resembling a cat with a lion-like mane and a rhinoceros-like creature without horns.

Dinosaurs are everywhere because the Christian group behind this believes dinosaurs lived alongside humans.

The ark has seven stories and three decks.

According to the official website, this reconstructed ark is a full-scale version of Noah’s Ark, which, if you believe the story, was built over 4,300 years ago.

The museum’s creators wanted to build a kind of Christian Disneyland to attract even non-believers. However, due to expensive ticket prices and the museum’s obvious biases, success might be limited. A one-day adult ticket costs about $60.

The park is located in Kentucky near a town with a population of just 4,000. Initial estimates predicted two million visitors annually, but the number has yet to be reached. Between summer 2017 and 2018, only 860,000 tickets were sold.

The park has faced controversy. According to The Guardian, the supporting group received an $18 million tax break. Later reports revealed the group only hired Christians, leading to the tax break being revoked. However, after filing a lawsuit, they won in court.
