SAEDNEWS: Man Marries More Than 100 Young Women in a Country Where Polygamy Is Illegal

Scandal Erupts After Serial Womanizer Reportedly Marries 120 Young Women

According to Rastanews, reported by Saed News, although polygamy is illegal in Thailand, a man has claimed to have married 120 women and fathered 28 children. One of the most remarkable aspects of his story is that all of his wives are reportedly aware of one another and maintain friendly relationships.

The man, Tambon Prasert, a district chief in Thailand's Nakhon Nayok Province, located about 90 kilometers from Bangkok, recently admitted that he had unofficially married more than 100 women despite the country's laws prohibiting multiple marriages.

The 58-year-old local politician, who also works in the construction industry, explained that his financial stability allowed him to pursue what he described as his dream of having a very large family.

During a meeting with officials who visited his home as part of a qualification review for a new position, he revealed that he had more than 100 wives and 28 children.

According to his account, he began marrying at the age of 17 and has entered into 120 marriages by the age of 58.

Speaking about his family, he said:

"My first wife was two years younger than me, and we have three children together. After that, I married many more times. All of the women I married were under the age of 20 when we met."

He also stated that 22 of his wives live in his hometown, while the others reside in different parts of Thailand.

Note: The claims in this story are based on the cited report and have not been independently verified. Since Thai law prohibits polygamy, the reported marriages may not all have been legally recognized.
