SAEDNEWS: Hair coloring with lemon juice and cinnamon is one of the best natural methods for changing hair color, which offers many benefits for hair health and beauty.
According to Saednews, Most women are interested in changing their hair color and use chemical hair dyes available in the market, often without realizing that these dyes can cause serious damage to their hair.
One of the most effective natural methods for lightening and coloring hair is using lemon juice. You may not notice a big change after the first use, but over time your hair will gradually take on a beautiful lighter shade. Since the final result can be unpredictable, it may even surprise you. It is recommended not to apply this treatment more than two or three times per week.
The number of lemons needed depends on your hair length and volume. For medium-length hair, one lemon is usually enough, while long or thick hair may require two lemons.
Squeeze the lemons without cutting them first. Then cut them into four pieces.

Add the lemons to one cup of boiled water. The ratio of lemon juice to water should be equal.
Because lemon juice can make hair dry or frizzy, you can add a little orange juice or a small amount of conditioner to the mixture to improve softness and reduce dryness.
Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and apply it evenly throughout your hair. If you only want highlights, apply it to specific strands.
For better results, apply it on unwashed, dry hair, as dryness helps lemon juice work more effectively.

After applying the lemon mixture, sit in direct sunlight for about one hour. Use sunscreen on your skin for protection.
Then reapply the mixture and stay in the sun for another 30 minutes. Repeat this process 4–5 times for better results.
After finishing the process, wash your hair thoroughly and apply conditioner. Lemon juice lowers the pH of the hair, which can make it dry and rough, so conditioning is essential to restore softness and improve the final look.
If you want brown or golden tones, add cinnamon to the lemon mixture.
Honey helps prevent hair from becoming brittle after coloring and adds moisture.
Applying chamomile tea before lemon juice can enhance shine and create a natural golden tone.
Cassia powder, similar to cinnamon, can also be mixed with lemon juice to achieve a golden shade.
Another method involves using a larger amount of lemon juice depending on how much hair you want to lighten. You can spray the mixture onto sections of hair for highlights, then comb through with a wide-tooth brush to distribute it evenly. Sun exposure is still required for activation, followed by rinsing and conditioning afterward.
Lemon juice is a natural and inexpensive way to lighten hair, but it should be used carefully to avoid dryness and damage.
